UNMANNED AERIAL SERVICES

Unmanned Aerial Services (UAS) are used by AES for projects where our drones can provide a unique angle for structures that need to be observed or analyzed from perspectives that are hard to obtain by conventional means. Drones enable us to perform inspections and surveys quickly and efficiently and to obtain a high level of detail for structural elements through 4K and raw imagery. Many projects, but especially façade evaluations and the assessment of distressed or damaged structures, can directly benefit from this service. Once an initial site reconnaissance for interference is completed, a drone can be quickly launched and an entire building façade photographed in high-resolution in a few hours.

While drones cannot replace the need for an engineer or architect to have “hands-on” the building surface in every instance, they can expedite the repair and provide information so that other means of vertical access can be deployed more effectively, and thereby minimize cost. And for damaged structures where collapse is a real possibility and the risk of a physical survey too great, a drone can observe areas of the structure which would be inaccessible otherwise.

With licensed pilots on staff and personnel handling permitting and site control, AES is capable of taking care of any UAS project in a timely and efficient manner.
